Posted 1-20-04:  Idaho Dairy First in Nation to Report its Toxic Emissions--Ammonia and Hydrogen Sulfide

Posted 2-18-02:   At least 70 tankers of rendering plant waste were illegally dumped into Elephant Butte Reservoir behind Gorzeman Dairy in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Posted 4-18-02:  Dairy Farmers of America was fined $100,000 by the NM Environment Department for illegally discharging waste into the City of Lovington's wastewater system, causing waste to overflow directly from City of Lovington manholes onto private property.

4-12-02:  Boone County, Iowa, passes a moratorium on Confined Animal Feeding Operations for health reasons.

1/27/02:   Jury sides against hog-lot firm for damages to property values. A total of $76,400 will go to residents near the facility.
