How Do Industrialized Dairies Impact New Mexico?Industrialized Dairies are swarming into New Mexico, leaving regions like California's Chino Basin (where they are under a Cease and Desist Order for polluting groundwater) and Texas' Bosque River Region (where the City of Waco sued 14 dairies for polluting its water supply).These operations attempt to hide behind their self-described "family farming" roots. HOWEVER, they are not Really Family Farms. Real Family Farmers don't use liquid manure systems. Real Family Farmers don't produce TONS of manure on a daily basis. Real Family Farmers work to protect the land. And Real Family Farmers, unlike Industrialized Dairy operations, don't have INDUSTRIAL WATER RIGHTS. Industrialized Dairies are INDUSTRIES, not FARMS. And Industries create Industrial-Sized Waste that can threaten water supplies. Pictures are worth a thousand words.
